One of the most ingenious pieces of mid-century Swiss design, the Magic Box by Mummenthaler & Meier transforms from a compact teak cabinet into a fully equipped home office. Two doors swing open to reveal a writing surface, a central bank of cubbies and shelves, and two side compartments with their own internal shelving and organizers — all housed in a birch interior. Closed, it looks like a simple wardrobe. Open, it’s a complete workspace. A genuinely rare find.
